I have been using this doctors surgery all myLife and have forever been let down, but its hard to change doctors when it was a 2 minute walk from my home. Today was the last straw and I will be changing my doctors. I was 5 minutes late to my appointment as I have now moved and the traffic was horrendous. There was a que in reception so I had to wait my turn which was fine, but then when I get to the desk Im given a dirty look by the rude receptionist and told I cant be seen Im too late as its been more that 10 minutes. I said the only reason its over 10 minutes is because I have been waiting in the que to which she called me a liar. The man in the que before me was spoken to like he was stupid and she didnt even write his number down correctly. Regardless of whether I was late or not receptionists shouldnt speak to patients the way I was spoken to. However its more than fine for the doctors to leave you waiting over half an hour for every appointment! Safe to say I wont be back...

Great local village GP practice. Practice nurse is very experienced and has sound clinical knowledge. Appoints are available with only a few days wait, compared to alot of surgeries you can wait well over a week for an appointment. Receptionists are friendly and appropriately triaged my needs to either a Gp, nurse or telephone appointment, saving on time and inconvience, everytime. Clinic is clean and tidy with lots of useful information available.

Have to agree with a lot of the folk that have left very negative reviews. Whether you are queuing to get seen or trying to get an appointment over the phone, the receptionists have a lack of empathy, are clearly not trained to deal with patients with medical concerns & the amount of time it takes to get someone on the other end of the phone, people have possibly died due the basic lack of care & attention required. The doctors are ok though. Front of house leaves little to be desired. Not nice people!!!

My GP, Dr Patel is brilliant as are the nurses. My complaint is about the office and admin staff. They are terse, defensive, uncompassionate and cold. Today was not the first time they were abrupt. You are dealing with human beings not robots. Please try a bit more tenderness. Can the Practice Manager not arrange for people training? I try to not be a burden to this surgery as have private healthcare but the appointment system requires revisiting. I go here when I absolutely have to. Typically I try and avoid.

Wonderful surgeryI have read the reviews and it is clear to see some have an axe to grind; my experiences at this centre have been second to none. The receptionists have been very accommodating for urgent appointments; the doctors and nurses have wonderful knowledge, bedside manner and genuine empathy for patient care.
