Aysgarth medical centre in Iver has been our medical centre for over 10 years and I can honestly say that they are fabulous. The receptionists have always been polite, efficient and very helpful. Ive seen most of the doctors & nurses there as I have 4 kids also and I can say all are helpful and professional. Dr Jani, Dr Patel (especially) and Dr Rodriguez are some of the best. Makes such a difference to have such a good medical centre on your doorstep.
The telephone receptionist was not at all friendly. I was in pain and wanted to explain my problem and last night call I had to make to NHS Direct - but she was very rude and won't let you get a word through in a conversation. Very very bad experience.
Having had Dr Patel as my GP for over ten years now I strongly disagree with any negative reviewings below and that Dr Patel is certainly not the person being described at all ! I have only ever found Dr Patel to be compassionate, courteous, sympathetic, extremely professional and have an honest committed bedside manner. He has always had time to listen with an empathetic ear. Dr Patel has always done what he can to ensure I have either been referred to the necessary medical professional or been on the road to recovery as quickly as possible. I always have and always will recommend Dr Patel and the surgery to others.
